The Paco Shirt is in the same family as the Zile Shirt

The Paco Shirt is in the same family as the Zile Shirt

WORK IN PROGRESS.

These are all versions of the Paco shirt

Top left: the Paco shirt with the hood extension pattern , belt and double patch pockets.

Top right: The original striped Paco with a wandering chest pocket , post pockets and a reach sleeve with a cuff and placket.

Bottom left: The idea to try the style is cord...

Its long lines are a welcome change to men´s otherwise identical shirts!

This is a beautiful shape on most guys and is a  deliberate nod to the tried and true styles of south Asia and the Arabic world.

The notched shirt collar and buttoned front opening add “classic” menswear elements to the style as do also the back yoke, movement folds, sleeve plackets and cuffs.

The long side splits allow easy access to trouser pockets.

The Back has a hint of a shirt tail and is slightly longer than the front ... to add mystery.

The Post pocket can also be added into the side splits ( they are nifty)

There is also an optional “ wandering “ chest pocket too.

The Paco Shirt and the Zile Shirt are “Pattern Brothers” this means they share the same pattern extensions.

This means a hooded Paco is also possible..with a belt too… and even perhaps double patch pockets… If this is exciting for you …. You are not alone!

This Blog post might be an interesting read.
