I am often asked whether the Frank is a jacket or a shirt?

It is a Jacket/Shirt hybrid! You don´t have to choose.

The Frank is tall and slim with side front pockets and roll up sleeves.

The Frank shirt was the third Stokx Men´s shirt design.

 It was a hybrid of the first shirt, the Lieblingshemd 2008  and the Straight shirt 2009/2010?

It has the easy collar and pockets from the Lieblingshemd and the diagonal back from the Straight shirt.

Why is it called the Frank Shirt?

 Like the Lieblingshemd (favourite shirt in English) and Straight Shirt,  The Frank Shirt starts with an adjective…However, it is also a name. 

The Frank shirt marked a real shift in Stokx Design. 

Many Stokx designs can be traced back to the Frank… The Franklin, The Lady Franklin, 

The Francis and The Lady Francis.

I call them THE FRANK FAMILY

The back structure is a happy mix of movement and tailoring. 

 It works so well that it has become a signature on many later Stokx designs.

The centre back bias piece is bound by straight edges. This combination allows for movement whilst maintaining the structure of the garment. AND… they ALWAYS have pockets.
