Online Course: Drafting the Puff Reach Sleeve
Online Course: Drafting the Puff Reach Sleeve
Learn how to create this Puff Reach Sleeve.
The Puff Reach Sleeve features gathers at the shoulder and has an elasticated casing in the wide hem of the sleeve. It is an interesting project for confident makers to practise/flex their skills
This video tutorial demonstrates 2 pattern adjustment methods: the sliding method and the slash and spread method.
The starting point is the Reach Sleeve from the Eve/Evelyn or Birdy pattern. Use an Eve/Evelyn Sleeve for the Eve family or a Birdy for the Birdy family. Find the starting pattern here:
- Eve Dress
- Evelyn Dress
- Reach Sleeve Extension (if you have the Eve or Evelyn Top you can find the Extension here)
- Winter Birdy Dress
- Winter Birdy Blouse Extension (if you have the Original Birdy Blouse you can find the Extension with the Reach Sleeve here)
- Winter Birdy Dress Extension (if you have the Summer Birdy Dress you can find the Extension with the Reach Sleeve here)
How you might create your own version; higher, more gathers or a long version are also touched upon in the video. This is something we might speak more about in a Zoom chat.
The idea behind the Zoom meeting is to discuss the course in more detail and learn about some extra tricks. It will also be possible to ask questions. If you select the option: "Invitation to a Zoom meeting" you will receive an email with further information.
